Food For Thought...
Here's a question: Why hasn't Gonzales simply pointed out that the eight US Attorneys in question were Clinton appointees who refused to investigate voter fraud committed by Democrats? Just asking, 'cause, y'know, it would be the first thing out of my mouth were I in his place.
The truth hurts; that must be why the media refuses to print it.
Semper Fi,

Because the Bush Administration is too scared to go on the offensive. As a result, this idiocy has dragged on far longer than it should have. I'd love to imagine that Rove et.al. have a zinger up their sleeve for this...but I've abandoned hope for them.
There is simply no reason for this story to have any legs at all...except that the Republicans are caught in the headlights and seem to have no idea what to do.
BTW...when I first read about this story last week and saw that the only objection (at the time) about the firings coming from the Democrats was that it might have been *gasp* partisan, I tuned it out as a story worth following. If that was all they had...hell.
But it wasn't until this post that I even realized that they were Clinton appointees. And Bush kept them around this long? Hell, he's more of a 'uniter' than I gave him credit for.
